“Experience, travel these are as education in themselves” EURIPEDES
A well rested night has HoldtheSun and I clamoring for fresh experiences. The day begins with a fantastic breakfast. Bill had scrambled eggs and salmon, toast and tea. I went for something that I would never touch in the states---Haggins. I am suprised how tasty, moist and overall wonderful is this Haggins. Or at least how it was prepared here, crisp on the outside, filled with spices, lightly hot to the taste and for me seemed sweet. The chef and owner Ross, a pleasant and good story teller of a young man informed me that Haggins is prepared differently from place to place where you eat. His particular butcher prepared iit in the above mentioned way. I told him, "I am sold on your Haggis and have no wish to experiment further."
I asked Bill if he wanted to try it and he laughed and said "I can not get over thinking about the part of the animal it comes from to taste it, you are a lot more braver than me."
We had back to the room to gather our stuff and what not, allowing Bill to get a little nap time in before the day.
