First Flight con't...

We reach Philly quickly, thank god. A shuttle takes us to our terminal where we walk about a quarter of a mile to our new gate. I guess I should be more generous in my description of the flight but I believe I am struggling with a hypoglycemic moment and need something more than healthy snacks and yogurt. Bill agrees and we find a really pretty good, especially for an airport salad place and order Cobb and turkey salads.
After a short while our gate attendant calls us to board. Upon boarding the plane, I realize our upgrade turns out to be to first class not business class. I set the bags in the overhead bin and immediately a woman comes over to us to greet us and take our jackets. We settle into the enormous seats and begin fiddling with all the buttons that control the seats. A different woman comes over and overs us sparking wine, juice or iced waited to drink. Do I really have to type what HoldtheSun took as his refreshment?
I being wussier than Bill took the water to hydrate myself. Then out comes a hot towel, we happily refresh, as the towel feels wonderful. A moment later we were handed menus complete with a half dozen different wines. No sooner than we pick our dinner choices we are handed
refreshment bags containing creams, lotion and assorted beauty products that the infidels in coach will never see. Her final act is to close the curtain so the riffraff in coach will not disturb us or use our bathroom. HoldtheSun nods his approval.
It is now turning to dusk, the day is coming to an end as we sit in out first class seats I am watching our Bill reclined back in his seat. The stone circles guidebook information sharing space with then Kindle on his lap, a contented half smile on his face, I watch him gazing out from his window seat holding onto the last remaining moments of a brilliant sun surrendering itself to the horizon. He turns as looks at me and says "Now we are beginning our trip." I feel good that we together sharing this journey.
We went from the dregs to the top of the heap in one afternoon. I believe the gods look favorably on our journey.
