"A wild longing for strong emotions and sensations seethes in me, a rage against this toneless, flat, normal and sterile life". Herman Hesse
Walking up to the castle we spot at a nice little cafe, St. Giles Cafe for a coffee. The interior with wood beamed ceilings and stone walls had a delightful medieval feel. The castle built over a thousand years ago is Scotland most important building. I will post some photos below. The walk to the castle gate is an uphill climb leading to the massive front iron wrought gate. I ordered the tickets online so we could fast tract our admission and of course the machine was busted, so we had to go inside anyway to get the tickets and our audio guides. I will attempt to post a link to the cattle this way I do not bore you with my pedestrian playing at tour guide. I love doing that in person but it seems so pedantic typing that way on a page. Or as in the words of Alexander Pope " A little knowledge is a dangerous thing."
So here are some self described photos:
The Campbell Legacy.

You guys are getting more sun there than we are here! I'm jealous....
