I am sure you can see that the Sun Gods had smiled on us as we visited our second Stone Circle and arguably maybe the best representation of a Sone Circle in the world---- The Rings Of Bodgar! There is something mysterious almost mystical about how they stand straight and tall, the bay and hills in the background. They are maybe 5000 years old, yet you can get up close, touch them, feel how battered and weathered they are but still stand. I saw Bill in rapture staring at the Ring of Stones and hear him softly say
"I made it, I can't believe I am here.".....
Some stones had this strange yellow coloring..
Bill pointed to the place where lighting struck and split the stone.
